In times past, the NONPROFIT was an active part of the church and the center of a town. It was where the school house would meet, the place where the community and town center would hold their meetings.

The purpose of the community-based organization is to aid the community, in social service, and economic development. Within this purpose there are goals, strategies; programs that aid the NONPROFIT to reach its purpose.

There's a parable in the Gospels when Jesus says “what you've done the least of them, you have done unto me.” Just like story of the “Good Samaritan”, there's a man beaten and left for dead, and The Good Samaritan picked up a man, clean him off, took him to and Inn, left the innkeeper some money and said to care for him. His Samaritan also said that if there is need for more money and he would pay at his return. We encourage you to do as the NONPROFIT.

Some of the information will be applicable and some of the information you will use at a later date as your nonprofit grows. The more organized you are, the more the Lord can bless your business. We have found that many nonprofits that we have consulted universally have the same problems; they had no vision written and no Policies & Procedures in place. You might be saying to yourself as you read this, those things aren’t important? Well you are wrong. The bible tells us “to write your vision and make it plain” and it goes to say to “write it upon tablets, so they that read it can take it and run.” And the bible says, “Where there is no vision the people perish…”

These two things will hinder the growth of your nonprofit as you will not be able to get your anointed workers to stay long, because God is not the author of confusion. If an employee or a volunteer has the understanding of their job and how to fulfill their position they will be effective in following you and will be able to aid you in your vision.

Our job is to equip the saints for the work in the nonprofit according to Ephesians chapter 2. We have designed this resource in several parts; one for your volunteers and two for paid staff. So that you will have an understanding of their jobs, duties, and you will be able to provide them with the tools to be able to perform tasks at hand.

During the conception of the Bible, the authors had scribes to write what God had given them. You'll find that most leaders will have the vision and need scribes to “write down the vision and make it plain and write in upon tablets.” In our experience, we have found that leaders will have a vision and need administrators to help write the vision. Because of this find, this resource will save you time and money to be able to efficiently start and take your nonprofit to the next level. Sunshine has been singing since she was age 2. Professionally she produced her first CD in early 2005 called simply 'Sunshine Sings', all a Capella. The Master copy of this CD has been accepted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio and is in the Archives.
The very talented BERGEY has afforded us the awesome privilege and opportunity to mix his exquisite guitar playing and melodious vocals to Sunshine's Band. His talent is beyond measure! He has been playing piano since he was 10 years old, picked up guitar soon after, writes the most amazing God-inspired lyrics ever, and sings beautifully! He has played for Christian camps and every Sunday at Fellowship for many years.
